Job summary

Cintal, Inc. is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to develop and maintain software for engine control and energy electronics applications. The role focuses on C/C++, model-based development, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure reliable product performance.

Responsibilities include design, testing, debugging, and documentation, with opportunities to work on MATLAB/Simulink-based development and verification activities in a global, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development for automotive, industrial, or energy electronics applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain embedded software for engine control and energy electronics applications.
• Design, code, integrate, test, and debug embedded systems using C/C++.
• Support model-based software development using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Analyze software requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Perform software validation, verification, and troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, and controls engineering teams to deliver high-quality products.
• Investigate and resolve software defects through root cause analysis.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test reports, and development records.
