Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant field from an accredited college or university.
• Certifications such as CSDP/CSEP, CSSLP, or CSM preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in computer or software engineering for mission-critical embedded platforms.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Java, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of real-time, embedded software solutions for complex systems.
• Develop architectures and detailed designs aligned with requirements and constraints.
• Test, debug, and optimize software components for performance and reliability.
• Analyze runtime behavior and profiling to identify and fix defects.
• Integrate software units into complete, functional systems.
• Support verification and validation activities across unit, integration, and system testing.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, test, and cybersecurity engineers for seamless integration.
• Participate in reviews, walkthroughs, and configuration control processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best-practice development.
