Job summary

Synergy Systems is seeking a Senior C#/API Engineer for a long-term contract. The role is fully remote and requires eligibility to work for any employer in the US.

You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality C# applications and RESTful APIs, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability. Day-to-day tasks include implementing features, refactoring, writing unit and integration tests, and troubleshooting complex issues.

Qualifications

• Strong software development skills with C#, API design, and modern practices.
• Proficiency in OOP and writing clean, maintainable, testable code.
• Advanced debugging and problem-solving for distributed systems.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms helpful.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, agile team.
• Bachelors degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent senior experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C# applications and RESTful APIs.
• Implement features, refactor code, and write unit/integration tests.
• Troubleshoot issues across services and systems.
