Buehler, a leading manufacturer of scientific equipment and materials analysis solutions, seeks a Senior Buyer to lead end-to-end procurement for electro-mechanical components. You will optimize inventories, manage supplier performance, and implement strategic sourcing across NPD and ongoing operations.

The role requires strong negotiation, ERP and BI tooling experience, and the ability to balance cost, risk, and supply continuity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sourcing/purchasing electro-mechanical components or similar
• Experience negotiating with suppliers on cost, quality, delivery, service
• Ability to identify business process issues and drive improvements
• Probable experience with ERP-based procurement systems and BI tools
• Strong Excel skills; macros and queries coding preferred
• Travel 0–10% as needed

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end material replenishment and procurement for assigned commodities
• Lead MRD and Kanban replenishment strategies and maintain inventory parameters
• Manage supplier relationships and drive performance improvements
• Identify supply risks and resolve shortages or capacity constraints
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and negotiations
• Support NPD and sustainable sourcing efforts; drive cost optimization
• Coordinate with Engineering and Quality on material requirements and ECN activity
• Ensure ERP data accuracy and compliance with policies
