Werfen, a global leader in diagnostics, seeks a Purchasing professional to acquire supplies at optimal terms, align with ERP outputs, and ensure supplier coverage. You will manage purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance while maintaining accurate data and adherence to SOPs.

Experience with Kanban, consignment, and vendor managed inventory is valued; a BS/BA and 10+ years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree and minimum ten years of related experience.
• Thorough understanding of traditional planning systems and replenishment approaches (Kanban, consignment, vendor managed inventory).
• Knowledge of purchasing-related legal concepts.

Responsabilités

• Issue and modify purchase orders per SOPs and ensure all material requirements are covered by POs, contracts, or supply agreements.
• Periodically review systems outputs to issue or revise orders for assigned items.
• Place and revise orders and maintain accurate data and records.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding price, quality, and delivery to minimize supply interruptions.
• Document supplier non-conformances and inform management of issues.
• Act as liaison with Accounts Payable and Inventory Control to resolve invoice delays.
