Werfen is seeking a procurement professional in the United States to manage purchasing of supplies and materials at optimum terms using ERP outputs. The role focuses on interpreting demand, ensuring ordering coverage, and identifying new supplier sources for continual improvement.

You will prepare RFQs, perform supplier surveillance, and maintain accurate data per standard procedures. Base salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually with benefits including health, retirement, and leave.

Qualificações

• BS/BA degree required with minimum three years of related experience or five years related experience in lieu of a four year degree.
• Thorough understanding of traditional planning systems and replenishment methods (Kanban, consignment, vendor managed inventory).
• Adequate knowledge of purchasing legal concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Purchase supplies at optimum terms using ERP output.
• Identify new and alternative suppliers and manage sources via regular contact, site visits, or reviews.
• Prepare RFQs, supplier surveillance, and ensure accurate data and records in line with procedures.
• Communicate with suppliers to manage price, quality, and delivery expectations; resolve supplier non-conformance issues.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable and Inventory Control to resolve payment/stock issues.
