Senior Buyer at Millerbernd Manufacturing Company is onsite in Winsted, MN, with a yearly salary range of $74,286 to $88,912. The role supports production by procuring supplies and services, building supplier partnerships and implementing replenishment systems aligned to demand and fiscal goals.

The Senior Buyer will manage daily purchase requirements, negotiate with suppliers, and provide internal customer service while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field.
• 5+ years of sourcing/procurement experience.
• Effective negotiating skills as the primary company representative.
• Ability to understand complex documents (terms/conditions, drawings, pricing agreements).
• Ability to analyze and interpret data.
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong business acumen with prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Process daily purchase requirements to satisfy production needs and manage costs.
• Provide internal customer service, understanding requirements and managing suppliers.
• Provide sourcing solutions; validate supplier quality, quantity and timing.
• Participate in supplier negotiations and prepare RFQ documents and agreements.
• Develop win-win relationships with suppliers for long-term success.
• Implement replenishment systems aligning supply with demand and fiscal objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify risks.
