Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement from intent to purchase through delivery.
• Communicate daily with various departments.
• Run open order and shortage reports to ensure timely delivery of components.
• Verify demand, inventory, cost, lead time, and safety stock for purchasing decisions.
• Solicit and evaluate proposals for the commodity.
• Negotiate lowest possible cost while maintaining quality and schedule.
• Implement purchase contracts compliant with company and government regulations.
• Ensure delivery on schedule and maintain records.
