Miller Industries in Tennessee is seeking a procurement professional to coordinate the purchase and distribution of materials, parts, and supplies for our manufacturing operations. You will work with multiple departments, run reports, and ensure timely delivery at negotiated prices.

The role emphasizes cost reduction, supplier evaluation, and contract implementation within a fast-paced production environment.

Formación

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Excel-based reporting is required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate procurement of materials, parts, and supplies from intent to purchase through delivery.
• Communicate daily with other departments to align on demand and timelines.
• Run open order and shortage reports to support timely delivery of components.
• Verify demand, on-hand inventory, cost, lead times, and minimum order quantities for purchasing decisions.
• Solicit and evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate the lowest cost with required quality and schedule.
• Implement purchase contracts compliant with company and government regulations.
• Ensure on-schedule delivery at negotiated price and maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain order records and shipping notices; identify cost-reduction opportunities.
