Millerbernd Manufacturing in Winsted, MN is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Methods Specialist to bridge Engineering and Operations. You will ensure ERP data integrity, translate drawings into manufacturing routings, and create accurate MOM to reflect the intended processes for the Transportation & Infrastructure Division.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in engineering or manufacturing, with Epicor ERP experience preferred, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in engineering/manufacturing, Mfg. planning or drafting.
• Experience creating and maintaining BOMs and routings; Epicor ERP preferred.
• Proficient in interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings.

The Opportunity: The Senior Manufacturing Methods Specialistacts as the vital bridge between Engineering and Operations. This role ensures the integrity of ERP part data and settings by interpreting complex part design specifications and Manufacturing Process Engineer inputs. By building accurate Methods of Manufacturing (MOM), this position guarantees that production systems reflect intended processes, directly driving operational accuracy and efficiency for the Transportation & Infrastructure Division.

Location: onsite in Winsted, MN
Salary Range: $27.17 - $32.12/hour (non-exempt)
(In compliance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law, this range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.
Incentive Bonus Structure: Freight Train Profit Sharing - Average of +$3.50/hour based on meeting goals
Schedule: 1st shift: Monday - Friday Business Hours
Shift Differential: 1st shift – N/A

As a Senior Manufacturing Methods Specialist you will:

• Execute Order Workflow Processing, translate product drawings to manufacturing routings
• Manage Bills of Material (BOM) and routings
• Create & Maintain Epicor T&I Division Part Data
• Support process improvement as Subject Matter Expert

Role Qualifications as a Senior Manufacturing Methods Specialist :

• Preferred candidates will have a bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience in engineering, manufacturing, Mfg. planning, and/or drafting
  • Other combinations of formal training and experience will be considered
• Experience creating and maintaining BOMs and routings; Epicor ERP experience is preferred
• Experience with Cadlink or similar CAD-to-manufacturing part definition tools is preferred
• Proficient knowledge in interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Working knowledge of metal fabrication processes, materials, and shop practices; able to translate drawings into buildable routings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity and quality
• Comfortable utilizing computers; particularly working with spreadsheets, email, and ERP/production planning applications
• Ability to solve practical problems, apply standards, and make sound decisions within defined procedures
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate and influence cross-functional partners
