Dover Food Retail, located in Conyers, GA, is seeking a Senior Buyer to manage direct material procurement, subassemblies, and production equipment. You will work with Production and Scheduling to secure items at the best cost while minimizing inventory exposure across the supply chain.

The role requires 8+ years in purchasing within manufacturing, strong MRP experience, ERP and Excel proficiency, and the ability to lead cross-functional sourcing projects.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Technical field, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of purchasing experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with MRP-driven purchasing, production support, and direct material inventory management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel, with a focus on process optimization.
• Experience managing contracts and supplier relationships in a fast-paced setting.

Responsabilidades

• Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure steady supply to meet operating needs.
• Purchase goods and services in line with cost, quality, and delivery targets and KPIs.
• Maintain continuous supply and communicate supply risks to the business.
• Maintain current trade compliance data for applicable goods.
• Coordinate with Production and Scheduling to timely order items.
• Manage inventory for components for internal plants and third-party vendors.
• Arrange for vendors to drop-ship parts as needed.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and other departments.
• Implement supplier partnership models and participate in procurement projects.
