Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of purchasing experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel, with a focus on process optimization.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities under tight timelines.

In this role, you will work closely with the Production and Scheduling teams to ensure that all required items are ordered in a timely manner at the most economic quantity and lowest cost in order to meet production requirements while simultaneously minimizing inventory exposure at the factory and in the supply chain. The Senior Buyer may also participate in Project teams involving materials procurement (direct, indirect and maintenance departments) and will assist in optimizing the procurement and sourcing supply chain, following up on key KPIs and metrics and developing standard work and training others as required.
