Dover Food Retail is seeking a Buyer in Conyers, GA to manage purchasing and planning duties supporting the production schedule. You will issue POs, expedite deliveries, and work with engineering to identify alternate materials while maintaining supplier relations.

The role requires 2+ years in purchasing, Excel/Outlook proficiency, and ERP experience; CPIM or Lean/CI background is a plus. This on-site position offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years’ purchasing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years relevant experience required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook required.
• ERP experience required; Visual & Oracle preferred.
• CPIM certification preferred; Lean/CI experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Issue POs daily in response to demand signals (Kanban, MRP, Min/Max).
• Expedite deliveries to ensure on-time components to the production line.
• Collaborate with departments to mitigate pricing and lead-time changes.
• Partner with engineering to identify alternate materials when needed.
• Maintain supplier relations and use ERP data for negotiations.
• Provide forecast of future demand to suppliers based on historical data.
