Dover Food Retail (DFR) in Conyers, GA is seeking a Senior Buyer to source direct materials, subassemblies, and production supplies. You will partner with Production/Scheduling to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement while minimizing inventory exposure across the supply chain.

The role requires strong analytical skills, MRP experience, and ERP/Excel proficiency. Candidates should have a track record in high-volume manufacturing and cross-functional collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of purchasing experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel, with a focus on process optimization.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities under tight timelines.

Responsabilidades

• Manage relationships with key suppliers of raw materials, sub-assemblies, production equipment, and supplies to ensure a consistent supply of materials to meet operating requirements.
• Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets and KPIs.
• Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate with any supply problems which may pose a risk to business operations.
• Maintain current trade compliance data for applicable goods.
• Collaborate with Production and Scheduling teams to ensure timely ordering and inventory management.
