Job summary

MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions is seeking a Senior Buyer to lead procurement, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing for our projects. You will collaborate with engineering, estimating, sales, and operations to balance cost, quality, and delivery.

You will drive process improvements, mentor teammates, and own procurement decisions that impact multiple departments and initiatives. This role offers growth opportunities within a dynamic contractor environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred; or 2+ years procurement experience.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management and supplier relationship skills.
• Ability to analyze data, manage multiple priorities, and communicate with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring cost efficiency and policy alignment.
• Identify best-value suppliers and secure reliable supply for projects.
• Execute procurement in line with SOPs and risk management strategies.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships with manufacturers, vendors, and partners.
• Monitor supplier performance and address issues proactively.
• Collaborate with engineering, estimating, sales and project management to deliver solutions.
• Mentor and develop teammates to raise procurement capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to streamline purchasing workflows and reduce costs.
