Job summary

Ralliant in Hollister, CA, is seeking a Sr. Buyer to optimize the supplier base and drive operational excellence. You will manage orders, ensure material availability, and develop competitive sources for materials and services.

Responsibilities include leading negotiations, handling complex PO processing, and driving continuous improvement while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams. Prior experience in aerospace purchasing is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Business or related field or 5+ years related experience in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years of purchasing experience in an aerospace environment or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working in an MRP environment.
• Good negotiating skills.
• CPM and/or APICS certification desirable.
• FAR/DFAR Experience; CPSR and DCMA Small Business Audit Experience.

Responsibilities

• Active supply base management to optimize supplier performance and accommodate operational excellence.
• Lead negotiations on costs, inventory and standard terms/conditions.
• Process purchase orders, blanket orders, and ensure accurate records.
• Respond to shortages, escalations, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing and quality to meet requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement and audit initiatives within purchasing.
