Responsibilities include obtaining supplier quotes, negotiating fixed pricing, managing VMI, and ensuring compliance with military specs and federal regulations to support program needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience preferred, especially in defense.
• Strong knowledge of military specs, federal regulations, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead component purchasing to meet schedule and contract delivery dates.
• Obtain quotes and negotiate pricing, quality, and terms with suppliers.
• Manage vendor relationships, including VMI and demand signals.
• Coordinate with program management to align material deliveries with production needs.
• Conduct price analysis to reduce component pricing and drive cost savings.
