Job summary

City National Bank is seeking a Business Systems Manager II to bridge business needs with technology teams. The role requires directing senior analysts, eliciting requirements, and ensuring successful system delivery within a banking environment.

Responsibilities cover end-to-end analysis, requirements artifacts, user stories, UAT planning, and post-implementation support. Leadership and roadmap participation are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 6+ years senior Business Analyst experience in a banking software delivery organization.
• 1 year leading and/or direct management of other Sr. Business Analysts.

Responsibilities

• Identifies business needs through thorough analysis and requirements elicitation.
• Collaborates with the technical team to implement systems.
• Produces BRD, functional specs, user stories, and wireframes guiding system functionality.
• Performs end-to-end impact analysis across upstream/downstream processes.
• Creates UAT test plan and traceability matrix; helps resolve defects.
• Trains end users and provides user documentation.
• Ensures new systems integrate with existing frameworks with minimal disruption.
• Supports the implementation team and post-production issues.
• Supervises and coaches junior Business Analysts; assigns work and reviews deliverables.
• Participates in roadmap planning with Product Manager; provides evaluation inputs.
