Job summary

City National Bank seeks a Business Systems Manager II to bridge business needs and technology in Cheyenne, WY. You will analyze requirements, elicit user needs, and guide system design with clear specifications for delivery.

You will lead senior analysts, drive roadmaps with Product Managers, ensure high-quality deliverables, and support UAT, training, and post-production issues within a banking context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 6+ years in a Senior Business Analyst role in a banking software delivery organization.
• 1 year leading and/or direct management of other Sr. Business Analysts.
• Subject matter expertise across the BA function.
• PMI or Six Sigma certifications preferred.
• SCRUM, BPMN, data mapping and migration knowledge.
• Experience with test planning and traceability.
• Knowledge of banking domains (deposits, lending, wealth).

Responsibilities

• Identifies business needs through thorough analysis and requirements elicitation.
• Collaborates with the technical team to implement systems.
• Produces detailed BRD, functional specs, user stories, and wireframes.
• Performs end-to-end impact analysis across processes.
• Creates UAT test plan and traceability matrix; helps solve defects.
• Trains end users and provides documentation.
• Ensures seamless integration into the existing framework and minimizes disruptions.
• Supports the implementation team and post-production issues.
• Supervises and coaches junior level BAs; assigns work and reviews deliverables.
• Participates in roadmap planning with Product Manager; provides evaluation inputs.
