Job summary

Dallas County is seeking a senior IT leader to oversee large, complex IT functions across Applications, Infrastructure, Network, and Security. You will manage multiple cross-functional teams, drive strategic IT initiatives, ensure service reliability, and align technology with County objectives.

The role requires six years of IT experience with three in a supervisory capacity, a Bachelor's degree, and strong governance, risk, and compliance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• Six (6) years of work-related experience in Information Technology, including three (3) years supervisory experience.
• Information Technology experience in government preferred.
• IT governance, security, and compliance knowledge.
• Ability to lead multiple teams and oversee IT service delivery across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large IT teams delivering enterprise-wide technology services.
• Leads incident response, system availability, and performance improvements.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, IT policies, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Drive ITSM, automation, and efficiency initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technology solutions.
• Develop and enforce policies for data security, compliance, and risk management.
