Altus, LLC is seeking a cleared Senior Business and Systems Analyst to support a federal contract opportunity. The role is remote with CONUS travel may be required, and it involves translating government requirements into user stories and specifications.

You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with government users, developers, and cybersecurity personnel to improve processes and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and active SECRET clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of business and/or systems analysis experience.
• Experience in Agile environments with user/technical teams.
• Experience with BPMN, Visio, or Lucidchart.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements.
• Translate Government requirements into user stories, specifications, acceptance criteria and workflows.
• Analyze grants processes: awards, invoicing, reporting, and data exchange.
• Create process models, traceability matrices, and release notes.
• Participate in Agile backlog refinement, sprint planning, and UAT.
• Coordinate across Government users, developers, testers, and cybersecurity teams.
• Investigate data issues and coordinate with DB teams to resolve problems.
• Develop user guides, release communications, and training materials.
• Identify automation opportunities and optimize legacy systems.
• Support communication between technical teams and Government stakeholders.
