Job summary

Accelera Solutions is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a DoD customer and implement an enterprise IT service delivery model. This full-time, remote position requires an active DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to work across time zones.

You will capture and analyze functional and non-functional requirements, write user stories, decompose objectives into backlog items, run stakeholder interviews, and lead product demonstrations.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Must meet eligibility for access to classified information and DoD Secret Clearance.
• 12+ years of relevant experience; degree substitutions allowed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a business analyst on interactive software development projects.

Responsibilities

• Capture, analyze, and manage functional and non-functional requirements and user stories.
• Decompose objectives into backlog items for iterative development cycles.
• Meet with stakeholders to identify business needs and requirements.
• Communicate business needs to development teams through user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Own and maintain release/sprint backlogs with the Scrum Master.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to ensure customer needs are met.
• Lead product demonstrations and report on iteration results.
• Establish processes and mentor other Business Analysts.
