Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to leverage strong functional and technical expertise across relevant systems and applications. This role defines, evaluates, and validates requirements, business functional design, and technical design for complex business issues within assigned domain areas.

The position focuses on liaison work, testing coordination, and driving process improvements for IT and the business, with a Hybrid Flex work arrangement and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical knowledge and support in system/application and procedural issues to the business and IT.
• Review, analyze and develop solutions and applicable business processes for business systems.
• Coordinate ongoing user support for ad hoc questions, inquiries, and service requests.
• Ensure efficiency of reporting and data tools for supported business area use and for trend analysis.
• Coordinate the development of system support processes with IT; document, track and report all system support activities.
• Act as Business Lead/Coordinator on large projects and coordinate testing strategy to meet business requirements.
• Train/coach others on testing protocol and test plan creation.
