Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to leverage strong functional and technical expertise across systems and applications. The role defines and validates requirements, designs for complex issues, and coordinates with IT on upgrades and testing.

This position emphasizes liaison work, stakeholder collaboration, and delivering effective technical solutions while minimizing operational impacts, within a Hybrid-Flex/Remote-Flex environment where location may vary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical knowledge and support in system/application and procedural issues to the business and IT.
• Review, analyze and develop solutions and applicable business processes for business systems.
• Coordinate daily to resolve production support issues and document all activities.
• Elicit and document business requirements and prepare functional specifications.
• Serve as Business Lead/Coordinator on large departmental projects.
• Facilitate project intake, scheduling, implementation, and post-implementation support.
• Influence testing strategy to meet business requirements.
