Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to leverage functional and technical expertise across systems and applications. This role defines requirements, designs functional and technical specifications, and coordinates with IT on testing, upgrades, and complex projects.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of related experience (or 7+ years in lieu of a degree) and a strong background in business systems analysis within healthcare or health insurance environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical knowledge and support in system/application and procedural issues to the business and IT.
• Review, analyze and develop solutions and business processes for business systems; quantify business impact and ensure quality and timeliness.
• Coordinate ongoing user support for ad hoc questions, inquiries, and service requests.
• Ensure efficiency of reporting and data tools for trend analysis.
• Coordinate development of system support processes with IT and resolve production issues.
