Job summary

Procore is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join the Digital Employee Experience team in Austin, with occasional location flexibility. You will turn loosely defined problems into structured processes, actionable requirements, and measurable outcomes while collaborating with PMs, engineers, and vendors.

You will map current workflows, design future-state processes, identify data needs, and translate findings into visuals and recommendations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in business systems analysis, business analysis, process improvement, or equivalent.
• Experience improving or reengineering business processes from problem discovery to measurable outcomes.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements, workflows, user stories, or acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, and workshops to understand current processes and opportunities for improvement.
• Map current-state workflows with flowcharts, swimlanes, and other process documentation to define ownership and gaps.
• Design future-state processes with guardrails, responsibilities, and success metrics.
• Identify data needs and reconcile information from multiple sources to explain what is happening and why.
• Collaborate with technical specialists for data extraction and translate findings into visuals and recommendations.
• Turn opportunities into actionable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned to business objectives.
• Evaluate options with project managers to balance priorities and support multiple initiatives.
• Support testing, stakeholder validation, and operational readiness to ensure practical changes.
• Follow improvements through implementation and adjust as needed based on results.
• Communicate findings, risks, and decisions clearly to operational and executive audiences, and create reusable process documentation.
