Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Business Systems Analyst III to serve as a senior liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. The role focuses on translating business needs into effective technology solutions, maintaining complex applications, and driving operational improvements.

The analyst will document requirements, facilitate solution design, and support project delivery in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum 2 years IT experience or 4 years IT analytics/troubleshooting/customer service may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Experience with SQL and data mapping.
• Experience with file transmission processes (FTP).
• Experience with accounting and reconcilement applications.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead requirements review sessions across teams including business, development, architecture, QA, and support.
• Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and operational efficiency.
• Support backlog refinement and solution planning.
• Serve as SME for assigned applications and business processes.
• Create and maintain BRDs, process documents, workflows, diagrams, and user procedures.
• Develop operational procedures and training materials.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, risk, and governance requirements.
• Liaise between business units, technology teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders at various levels.
• Mentor junior analysts and project team members.
• Lead or participate in strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects.
