Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Business Systems Analyst III to serve as a senior liaison translating business needs into technology solutions. You will help maintain complex applications, drive operational improvements, and document requirements across Agile and Waterfall environments.

The role requires strong analytical skills, collaboration with business, development, QA, architecture, vendors, and production support teams, and a focus on delivering compliant, efficient processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; 2+ years related IT experience or 4+ years in IT analytics/troubleshooting may substitute.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-service focus.
• Strong documentation and analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Experience with system testing and documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Experience with SQL, data mapping and data mining.
• Experience supporting file transmission processes like FTPs.
• Experience with Accounting and Reconcilement applications.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements.
• Translate needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead requirements reviews and facilitate cross-team discussions.
• Identify automation and process improvements for operations.
• Support backlog refinement and solution planning.
• Serve as SME for assigned applications and processes.
• Create and maintain BRDs, process docs, workflows, diagrams, and user procedures.
• Develop operational procedures and knowledge articles.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, risk, and governance requirements.
• Act as liaison between business units, technology teams, vendors, and partners.
• Facilitate meetings and status updates with stakeholders at various levels.
• Provide mentorship to junior analysts.
• Lead or participate in strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects.
