Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Business Systems Analyst III to serve as a senior liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. You will translate business needs into effective technology solutions, document requirements, and support project delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with Agile and Waterfall, and can collaborate across business, development, architecture, QA, vendor and production support teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience or an additional 2 years of IT experience that includes IT Analytics, IT Troubleshooting, or IT Customer Service may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead requirements review sessions and facilitate discussions between business, development, architecture, QA, and support teams.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and operational efficiency.
• Support backlog refinement, prioritization activities, and solution planning.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned applications and business processes.
• Create and maintain business requirements documents, process documentation, workflows, system diagrams, and user procedures.
