Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to bridge business needs with technology solutions across enterprise applications that support contracting, billing, and receivables.

You will partner with stakeholders, developers, and QA to deliver enhancements and integrations throughout the software development lifecycle. You will translate business requirements into functional specs, design solutions, and ensure alignment with SDLC/Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

5+ years in business systems analysis or similar IT role; bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Knowledge of CRM/CLM/Billing or similar enterprise apps.
Solid SDLC and Agile/Scrum understanding.
Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; translate needs into functional specs.
Experience with dev and QA teams to support enhancements and integrations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management; own requirements and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

Engage with stakeholders to understand objectives and gather requirements.
Analyze processes and translate to functional requirements, user stories, use cases.
Collaborate with developers and QA to clarify questions and support delivery.
Analyze integrations and data flows to assess impact of changes.
Lead assigned BA activities and drive progress with teams.
Participate in SDLC phases from requirements to deployment and support.
Support testing, defect resolution, and validation to ensure fit.
