Job summary

Akamai Technologies in the United States seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our Enterprise Applications team. You will translate business needs into effective technology solutions, working with stakeholders, developers, and QA to deliver enterprise applications and integrations.

You will define requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and oversee the SDLC from design to post‑deployment support. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business systems analysis or IT role with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Functional knowledge of CRM, CLM, Billing, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to translate business needs.
• Experience with development and QA teams to support enhancements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand objectives, identify challenges, and gather requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Work with developers and QA to clarify requirements and support delivery.
• Analyze integrations and data flows to understand cross-system impacts.
• Drive BA activities and keep deliverables progressing with teams.
• Participate in SDLC from requirements to post-deployment support.
• Support functional testing and validation to ensure alignment with requirements.
