Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related or technical field.
• 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a closely related role.
• Experience working within the Agile development lifecycle, collaborating with cross functional teams.
• Experience conducting and supporting UAT efforts, including coordinating with stakeholders to validate requirements against delivered solutions.
• Strong technical analysis skills with the ability to translate and document business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey and clarify information between non-technical stakeholders and technical teams.
• Proficiency in writing and managing user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria using Jira or similar Agile tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL or BI tools to analyze data and support requirements validation and decision-making.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business needs.
• Partner with domain experts and engineers to support solution design for moderately complex technical problems.
• Prepare and maintain well‑documented functional specifications, workflows, mock‑ups, and user stories.
• Maintain and refine epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure clarity, completeness, and alignment with business priorities.
• Contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release planning activities to support alignment between business priorities and development capacity.
• Analyze current product workflows and evaluate opportunities for improvement based on business needs and system capabilities.
• Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities by developing test cases, facilitating execution, and validating requirements against delivered solutions.
• Track and analyze key metrics and KPIs to evaluate solution performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in retrospective discussions and contribute recommendations to improve team processes and delivery outcomes.
• Participate in prototyping and proof‑of‑concept efforts to validate solution approaches and workflows.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying gaps in requirements, documentation, and delivery practices.
• Support adoption of Agile best practices by reinforcing consistent standards across teams.
• Assist and guide junior analysts by sharing knowledge, providing feedback and supporting skill development.
