Job summary

Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our Boston team. You will translate business needs into actionable technical requirements and help shape product workflows.

You will collaborate with domain experts and engineers, write user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira, and participate in backlog, sprint, and release planning to ensure alignment with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, IS, or related technical field.
• Five years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or closely related role.
• Experience in Agile lifecycle and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience coordinating UAT with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business needs.
• Support solution design for moderately complex technical problems.
• Prepare and maintain functional specifications, workflows, and user stories.
• Refine epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for clarity and alignment.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release planning.
• Coordinate and support UAT activities with stakeholders.
• Track KPIs to evaluate solution performance and identify improvements.
• Contribute to process improvement and agile practices across teams.
• Assist junior analysts with knowledge sharing and skill development.
