Empower is seeking a Principal Business Systems Analyst to lead evaluation of complex business processes and systems, gathering requirements, analyzing data, and delivering comprehensive system documentation. You will mentor analysts and contribute to future roadmaps while partnering with Architects and System Analysts.

The role focuses on translating business needs into technical solutions, guiding IT development projects, and ensuring system scalability and resilience in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading business systems analysis with development and systems teams.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with multi-platform applications and databases.
• Excellent communication to gather requirements and document solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile, Jira, Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to gather and document business requirements for software development projects.
• Analyze and translate business needs into clear and concise user stories that align with project goals.
• Conduct complex and critical work independently, exercising judgment and influencing best practices within the discipline.
