Job summary

Northland Area FCU is seeking an experienced Lending Specialist IV for its Business Lending team. You will advise business owners with expert financial guidance, lending solutions, and exceptional service to drive growth and community impact.

As a trusted advisor, you will partner with Business Development Officers and Credit Risk to expand relationships, assess risk, and deliver sound lending outcomes. Travel and NMLS requirements apply to the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of business lending, mortgage lending, business development, or related financial services experience.
• Active NMLS registration or eligibility to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business financial statements, cash flow, and credit risk to support lending decisions.
• Assist in structuring, processing, and closing business and mortgage loan requests.
• Develop and expand commercial deposit and lending relationships.
• Prepare credit presentations and loan recommendations for underwriting.
• Assist business owners with financial planning, business strategies, and growth opportunities.
• Manage loan renewals, modifications, and annual financial reviews.
• Support collection and delinquency mitigation while preserving strong member relationships.
• Stay informed on market conditions and business banking opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
