Job summary

Northland Area FCU is seeking an experienced Lending Specialist IV in our Business Lending department. You will advise business members, analyze finances, and structure loans to support growth and long-term success.

You will collaborate with Business Development Officers and Credit Risk to expand relationships, manage renewals, and ensure compliance with regulations while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Active Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration or eligibility to obtain.
• 3+ years of business lending, mortgage lending, business development, or related financial services experience.
• Valid driver's license with ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business financial statements, cash flow, and credit risk to support lending decisions.
• Assist in structuring, processing, and closing business and mortgage loan requests.
• Develop and expand commercial deposit and lending relationships.
• Prepare comprehensive credit presentations and loan recommendations for underwriting.
• Assist business owners with financial planning, business strategies, and growth opportunities.
• Manage loan renewals, modifications, and annual financial reviews.
• Support collection and delinquency mitigation while preserving strong member relationships.
• Stay informed on market conditions, competitive trends, and business banking opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
