Job summary

Northland Area FCU in Alpena, MI seeks a Business Development Officer to drive new business loans and deposits while strengthening member relationships in the local community.

You will meet with business owners, represent the Credit Union at local events, and tailor financial solutions to help businesses grow. This full-time role requires networking, sales discipline, and a commitment to exceptional member service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• NMLS licensing required (or ability to obtain).
• Experience in business development, lending, or financial services preferred.

What Is the Role?

Be the face of Northland in the business community!

This is a Full Time Business Development Officer position where you'll develop new business relationships, strengthen existing partnerships, and connect local businesses with financial solutions that help them grow. You'll work closely with business owners, community leaders, and our internal teams to identify opportunities, generate loans and deposits, and represent the Credit Union throughout our service area.
