Job summary

Qualifications

• J.D. or LLM is required for admission
• Active membership in a US state bar or DC bar is required
• 3–5 years of experience at the associate level preferred
• Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Develop expert understanding of clients, industries, and the firm’s services
• Oversee assignments independently as a senior member of the client team
• Utilize precedents to address client situations and craft solutions
• Research complex immigration issues and prepare documentation
• Execute case preparation, filing, and strategy for complex matters
• Communicate complex issues to diverse audiences
• Maintain client relationships and participate in meetings and reporting
• Mentor junior associates and other staff
• Ensure compliance with firm protocols and data quality
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and cross-sell services
