Job summary

Fragomen is seeking a Business Immigration Associate to work with a smart, motivated, and diverse team in an immigration-focused environment. You will operate as a senior member of client teams, independently managing assignments with minimal supervision and leveraging precedents to address client situations.

We seek a U.S. JD or LLM, bar admission in a US state or DC, 3–5 years of associate experience, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a dedication to top-tier client

Qualifications

• U.S. JD or LLM required.
• Member of a US State bar or Washington DC bar association.
• 3-5 years of Associate-level experience in immigration law.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior team management experience preferred.
• Dedication to exceptional client service.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop expert understanding of client base and practice areas; act as a senior member of client teams.
• Independently oversee and manage assignments with minimal supervision.
• Research complex immigration issues and formulate solutions.
• Execute case preparation and filing and develop strategies for complex matters.
• Mentor junior Associates and staff; provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and participate in client meetings and updates.
• Ensure compliance with firm standards, data quality, and use of firm systems.
