Job summary

Enterprise Bank & Trust in Merriam, KS is seeking an AVP, Business Development Officer to drive new deposit relationships and expand profitability for the Business Banking unit. You will work with branch managers and cross-sell products to meet sales goals and service client financial needs.

You will conduct outside calls, attend events, and coordinate with partners to deliver tailored banking solutions while maintaining high client satisfaction and strong community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct calling on prospective clients to generate deposits and fee income; spends much time outside the bank.
• Meets sales goals including total deposits, new relationships, and products per relationship.
• Works with partners to ensure clients have right products and refers to other bank areas when needed.
• Conducts joint outside sales calls at client locations.
• Develops internal/external referrals through events and professional groups.
• Maintains bi-annual contact with deposit customers to ensure satisfaction and identify new needs.
• Promotes a favorable image of the bank within the community.
• Onboards clients with the team and facilitates introductions.
• Logs sales activity in Sales Force weekly.
• Complies with policies, procedures, and regulations.
