Qualifications

• Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience ... in or related to this position.
• Developing and implementing strategic planning initiatives for defense distribution.
• Analyses of short- and long-range plans, programs, and objectives, recommending major changes.
• Providing advice and support to senior leadership related to distribution policy, planning, and operations.
• Researching distribution operations and conducting studies affecting procedures, facilities, and funding.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagement strategies and plan/execute new storage and distribution projects.
• Direct and manage subordinate supervisors and leaders.
• Coordinate joint studies with partners and customer agencies to develop storage/distribution solutions.
• Promote storage and distribution capabilities and participate in management conferences with high-level officials.
• Develop plans of actions and milestones (POAM) to transition new work into DLA Distribution operations.
• Maintain technical competence and awareness of political implications at local, state, national, and international levels.
