Job summary

CoStar Group, a leading real estate information company, seeks a Director of Business Development for Zonda in Chicago. This role focuses on selling Builder Listings Services and Builder Digital Solutions to homebuilders and developers while building strategic client relationships and driving revenue across the territory.

The candidate will lead territory planning, client demonstrations, and end-to-end sales cycles, leveraging Salesforce and industry networks.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years’ experience in a listings/advertising and/or digital media services in a business development/outside sales role.
• 2-5+ years’ experience in the new home industry selling into sales & marketing departments at the VP or Director level.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person University or College

Responsibilities

• Generate new business and drive revenue selling Zonda’s Builder Listings Services and suite of Builder Digital Solutions to homebuilders & developers throughout assigned territory
• Develop and execute on a sales plan for the territory
• Generate 5-7 face-to-face or virtual appointments each week and maintain all meetings & pipeline information in Salesforce.com
• Generate qualifying leads and drive the full sales cycle from introductory calls to closing deals
• Perform in person and web demonstrations
• As needed, work in conjunction with Zonda data representatives to create builder relationships with key sales and marketing members
• Travel within your territory & industry conventions to close prospects as needed
• Present listings & advertising products and builder digital solution products at company events or company sponsored events
