Job summary

CoStar Group in Denver seeks a Director of Business Development for Zonda Builder to lead strategic growth in real estate data and services. You will develop new business opportunities with homebuilders, developers, and financial partners while collaborating with regional directors.

The role requires 7+ years in digital/data services sales, SaaS experience, and a hunter mentality. Base salary ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 annually plus incentives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a related digital/data services business development/outside sales role.
• Experience in a SaaS environment with focus on user acquisition.
• Ability to manage the full sales process from prospecting to closing.
• Hunter mentality, quick learner, independent mindset, and high energy.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Proven track record of commitment to prior employers.
• Current valid driver’s license and driving record check.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business selling Zonda’s Membership Services and mobile platform to homebuilders, residential & commercial developers, financial institutions, and cities.
• Develop and execute on a sales plan for the territory.
• Record and maintain all meeting & pipeline information in Salesforce.com.
• Qualify leads and drive the full sales cycle from introductory calls to closing deals.
• Schedule and perform in person and web demonstrations.
• Embrace new technology and proficiency with multiple tech platforms (PC, mobile devices, online apps).
• Travel within your territory and industry conventions to close prospects.
