Job summary

Santander is seeking a Sr. Associate, Business Banking Relationship Manager to identify, develop and expand our commercial client base, driving loan, deposit and fee income growth through robust sales plans and industry connections.

You will collaborate with regional managers to implement client-centric relationship strategies, manage existing relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with credit policies while delivering exceptional service to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in business, finance, economics, or related field.
• 9+ years of Business Banking Relationship Manager experience or related lending background.
• Strong understanding of C/I loans, credit policy, and risk concepts.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and expand the customer base and network.
• Grow loans, deposits and fee income through robust sales plans.
• Coordinate targeted campaigns and events with Regional Manager.
• Negotiate terms and loan structures for complex deals.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure high service levels.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
