Job summary

Santander New Haven is seeking a Sr Associate, Business Banking Relationship Manager to grow and manage a portfolio of commercial clients in New Haven, CT. You will lead relationship planning, conduct client meetings, and coordinate campaigns to drive loans, deposits and fee income.

The role requires a deep understanding of commercial lending, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a proven track record in business development within a banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business/Finance/Economics or related field.
• Master's Degree preferred for advanced roles.
• 9+ years in Business Banking Relationship Manager or related lending/relationship management.
• Strong understanding of C/I loans, banking products, and credit policies.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities, loans, deposits and fee income.
• Coordinate campaigns and events to expand customer base.
• Maintain relationships and ensure high-quality client service and profitability.
