Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Senior Business Banking Consultant to lead development in underserved communities in Chicago. You will build relationships with entrepreneurs and organizations, delivering tailored banking solutions while coordinating across Chase branches and partners to ensure excellent client experiences.

The role emphasizes financial education, proactive advisory, and risk-aware opportunity capture for a diverse client base. Strong industry knowledge and leadership are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business banking relationship management or related business / commercial lending experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong relationship management skills; demonstrate strong tactical business development and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrate seasoned judgment to offer comprehensive and customized solutions that best meet client needs; monitors and researches market/industry trends and business outcomes to anticipate client needs and present proactive solutions.
• Able to identify opportunities, issues, and viable alternatives, while managing risk, when traditional solutions do not apply.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships, and utilize networks and local centers of influence to identify and support underserved entrepreneurs
• Cultivate long-term relationships with Community Development Financial Institutions, Non-Profits, and other community organizations
• Maintain current business network and involvement in Chambers of Commerce and non-profit boards; leverage knowledge of diverse businesses and markets
• Collaborate with Chase branches and units to provide comprehensive financial solutions tailored to client needs
• Deliver an exceptional client experience with customized banking solutions and responsible risk management
• Build internal and external relationships to develop business networks and seamless client experience
• Connect clients with specialists across Chase lines to meet financial goals
