Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business banking relationship management or related lending
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Strong relationship management, tactical business development and negotiation skills
• Monitor market/industry trends and business outcomes to anticipate client needs and propose proactive solutions
• Identify opportunities, issues, and viable alternatives while managing risk

Responsibilities

• Build relationships, and utilize networks and local centers of influence to identify and support underserved entrepreneurs
• Cultivate long‑term relationships with Community Development Financial Institutions, Non‑Profits, and other community organizations, leveraging internal resources such as JPMorgan Chase Foundation
• Maintain current business network and involvement in community organizations such as Chambers of Commerce and non‑profit boards; leverage knowledge of diverse businesses, industries, markets, financial concepts; employ creative marketing techniques to develop networks and prospects
• Provide best-in-class client advice and service; collaborate with branches, Home Lending, Chase Wealth Management, and Merchant and Card Services to offer solutions
• Deliver customized business banking solutions tailored to client needs; use knowledge of business, finance, banking, credit and risk to promote solutions that serve the client and portfolio profitability
• Build collaborative internal and external relationships to provide the best client advice and service and develop the business network
• Discover client financial goals; partner across lines of business to connect clients with specialists
