Job summary
Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Requirements Analyst to support VA software initiatives in a 100% remote role. You will lead requirements capture, documentation, and backlog management across Agile teams using ALM tools like JIRA, ensuring traceability and clear acceptance criteria.
The position requires a Master’s degree, 10+ years of professional experience, and Public Trust clearance readiness, with strong SAFe/Agile background and excellent communication skills to work
Qualifications
- Strong background in software development and SAFe methodologies.
- Excellent oral and written communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
- Experience with large, Agile software development or data integration projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead capture of business requirements for software development teams.
- Collaborate with users, IT and leadership to elaborate requirements in ALM tools.
- Manage requirements in an ALM tool and perform SAFe requirement management.
- Develop user stories, backlog items, and acceptance criteria.
- Use ALM tools (JIRA) for requirements, testing and defect management.
- Coordinate with Systems Engineers to assess impact on solutions.
- Write and deliver project documents to the client.
- Identify and manage risks and issues impacting progress.
