Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams and to document them in an ALM tool such as JIRA. This role is 100% remote and full-time, requiring U.S.

citizenship and a Public Trust (MBI) clearance consideration. The ideal candidate has SAFe/Agile experience, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate with IT and leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong background in software development and SAFe/Agile practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Attention to detail and proven problem-solving abilities.
• Experience performing independent research to resolve complex questions.
• Advanced MS Office skills, including Excel.
• Experience in large Agile software development or data integration projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams
• Collaborate with business users, IT, and leadership to document requirements in an ALM tool
• Manage requirements and perform Agile requirement management for product teams
• Conduct backlog refinement and write/validate acceptance criteria
• Coordinate with Systems Engineers and manage changes across projects
