Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive product development and client enablement, working with product leadership, client stakeholders, and development teams to translate business needs into well-defined requirements and user stories.

You will maintain traceability, refine the backlog with onsite and offshore teams, and lead QA-oriented validation and UAT, ensuring alignment with business goals and effective communication across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in business analysis or comparable roles.
• Translates complex business needs into functional requirements.
• Leads client or stakeholder sessions and workshops.
• Develops testable acceptance criteria and user stories.
• Collaborates with distributed teams and QA throughout lifecycle.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS or configurable products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead client/workshop sessions to uncover underlying business needs.
• Translate directions into structured functional requirements and user journeys.
• Maintain traceability from needs to tests and feedback.
• Refine backlog with distributed onsite and offshore teams.
• Define business scenarios and expected outcomes with QA participation.
• Prepare clients for UAT and validate functionality with users.
• Provide readiness recommendations to product leadership for features.
